Course Description
Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution is here! The technology is progressing at a massive scale and is being widely adopted in the Healthcare, defense, banking, gaming, transportation and robotics industries.
Machine Learning is a subfield of Artificial Intelligence that enables machines to improve at a given task with experience. Machine Learning is an extremely hot topic; the demand for experienced machine learning engineers and data scientists has been steadily growing in the past 5 years. According to a report released by Research and Markets, the global AI and machine learning technology sectors are expected to grow from $1.4B to $8.8B by 2022 and it is predicted that AI tech sector will create around 2.3 million jobs by 2020.
The purpose of this course is to provide students with knowledge of key aspects of machine learning regression techniques in a practical, easy and fun way. Regression is an important machine learning technique that works by predicting a continuous (dependant) variable based on multiple other independent variables. Regression strategies are widely used for stock market predictions, real estate trend analysis, and targeted marketing campaigns.
The course provides students with practical hands-on experience in training machine learning regression models using real-world dataset. This course covers several technique in a practical manner, including:
· Simple Linear Regression
· Multiple Linear Regression
· Polynomial Regression
· Logistic Regression
· Decision trees regression
· Ridge Regression
· Lasso Regression
· Artificial Neural Networks for Regression analysis
· Regression Key performance indicators
The course is targeted towards students wanting to gain a fundamental understanding of machine learning regression models. Basic knowledge of programming is recommended. However, these topics will be extensively covered during early course lectures; therefore, the course has no prerequisites, and is open to any student with basic programming knowledge. Students who enroll in this course will master machine learning regression models and can directly apply these skills to solve real world challenging problems.

Prof. Ryan Ahmed, PhD, MBA
I'm Dr. Ryan Ahmed, professor, engineer, and founder of Stemplicity, where we help people get past the hype and actually build things with AI, Agentic AI, Cloud, and Data Science.
Over the past 10 years, I've taught 1 million learners across 160 countries — 700,000+ enrolled in my Udemy courses, 260,000+ subscribers on the "Prof. Ryan Ahmed" YouTube channel, and 120,000+ on Coursera. I also run corporate AI training for teams at HSBC, RBC, Discover, and Barclays across the US, Canada, and the UK. I held leadership roles at GM, Samsung, and Stellantis in Canada and the U.S., working on electric and autonomous vehicle technologies.
I hold a MASc, PhD, and MBA from McMaster University. I’m also a licensed Professional Engineer and a Stanford-certified program manager with over 60+ published research papers in AI and battery systems.
But credentials are the least interesting part. Here's what I actually believe: "AI is the biggest opportunity of our lifetime", and most people are sitting it out because they think they need to code or have a PhD. You don't. If you're willing to show up and try, I'll help you get good at this.

I learned important concepts and practical skills from this course. I can apply them in my studies and future work. The course encouraged me to learn continuously and approach problems in a better way. It also helped me improve my existing knowledge and understand new concepts more clearly.

This is an excellent investment for anyone looking to master regression techniques. The combination of theoretical knowledge, practical application, and supportive community creates a powerful learning experience. Whether you're looking to start a career in data science or simply expand your skill set, this course offers the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in machine learning regression. Highly recommended!

Bonne continuation.

214 / 5000 Resultados de tradução Very objective course, covering several regression models in a simple and easy-to-follow way. My learning was very good with the theory explained objectively and in practice with implemented projects.

Excellent overview and introduction to machine learning. Dr. Ryan is a great instructor. He'll tell you what he's going to cover, he covers it, and then he review it again. The topic will sink in naturally especially after you code along. Nice work, Ryan.

I think this would be a very good course for beginners (I'm not a beginner). The instructor is careful to explain concepts and review multiple times. The exercises are pretty good and a student certainly should be able to complete them. Note that the section on artificial neural networks might require libraries to be loaded that you don't have if you have not worked with ANNs before. I would recommend this course to a beginning student or one who is not confident about regression techniques.

Thank you Dr Ryan Ahmed and the Super Data Science Team for this amazing course. The concepts were explained in the easiest way possible. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone who would like to learn about Regression

Generally this is a good course. Clear explanation and enough exercises after learning the model. But something basic such as df.iloc, string formatting may be included to make the coding style better. Also, some code are a bit messy.
By Chimezie Vincent Eguzo on 2/13/2020
For someone new to linear regression, this course is a perfect match. The tutor did a great job in explaining and implementing the methods. In a future course, I will suggest more examples on how to evaluate performance of the learning model using the metrics earlier explained.
By Vasu K Shivaprakash on 8/7/2019
I took this course after completing the ML Basics course from SuperDataScience team. Most of the regression techniques were already covered in ML Basics course but this course has very good exercises and I like working on Jupyter notebooks compared to the previous one that was done entirely on Spyder
